The ICT Authority launched its Strategic Plan 2024-2027, marking a significant milestone in the journey toward a digitally empowered society. The Strategic Plan seeks to implement national, regional and international digital policies and laws Kenya subscribes to relative to the mandate of the Authority.
The event was graced by distinguished guests, including the Chief Guest, Dr. Margaret Ndung'u, Cabinet Secretary for the Ministry of Information, Communication, and the Digital Economy (MICDE). In her keynote address, Dr. Margaret Ndung'u highlighted the pivotal role of the Strategic Plan in driving digital progress across the nation. âThis plan lays the groundwork for transformational projects that will revolutionize our digital landscape,â Dr. Ndung'u stated. The Strategic Plan 2024-2027 is designed to digitally empower society by providing quality ICT services, applying best practices, and harnessing advanced digital technologies. It aligns with the National Digital Masterplan 2022-2032 serving as a roadmap for implementing and achieving key projects under MICDE.
